Outcomes:

  • Projects completed at the end of each module.
  • Eligibility to test for Unity Programmer Certification or Unity Artist Certification.
  • 150 hours of hands-on Unity and GroKit Core experience.
  • Builds institutional capacity for offering XR-focused continuing ed programs.

Elective College Course

Semester-long, credit-bearing elective

Best for:

Undergraduate or graduate students in relevant programs (CS, design, media, education, engineering)

The Elective College Courses integrate directly into existing degree programs, with tracks tailored for developers and artists.

Content:

  • Advanced XR development concepts.
  • Direct integration of GroKit Core into course projects.
  • Capstone project aligned with student’s field of study (e.g., AR classroom tool, VR visualization for research).

Outcomes:

  • Students produce portfolio-ready XR projects.
  • Faculty gain a scalable way to embed XR into existing curricula.
  • Strengthens the institution’s position as a leader in immersive technology education.

After School Program

Weekly sessions (semester or year-round)

Best for:

High school students (grades 9–12)

Introduce students to the fundamentals of Unity and GroKit Core through a semester-based structure.

Content:

  • Basics of XR technologies and applications.
  • Creative projects using GroKit Core (e.g., games, virtual labs, AR storytelling).
  • Collaboration, design thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Outcomes:

  • At least one major project delivered.
  • Students develop early exposure to immersive tech and spatial computing.
  • Prepares them for college-level STEM, media, and design programs.
